EPC ( Expand Plastic Composite )
EPC, which stands for Expanded Plastic Composite(Light Weight SPC), is a rigid core flooring material with a density that falls between that of SPC and WPC. Its core is composed of a micro-foamed plastic composite, produced through an online high-temperature extrusion process. EPC combines the excellent dimensional stability of SPC with the lightweight texture characteristic of WPC. Furthermore, EPC offers significant value advantages: it is easier to install, reducing labor requirements, and is approximately 20% lighter than SPC. This substantial weight reduction translates into lower shipping costs and alleviates challenges related to manual handling and on-site installation.
